This review is from: DigitalsOnDemand 14-Item Accessory Bundle for New Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1-Inch, Wi-Fi) (Electronics) There are 14 items for my baby Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. I really love the leather case stand. It fits perfectly with my SGT 2 10.1. TPU Case is fit too. :) However, the screen protector, I am not sure whether I didn't know how to put it on my SGT or not, but there are so many bubbles on the surface that I have to take it out and threw it away. I tested other items. They're work perfectly, except OEM USB OTG Connection is sooo flimsy, and it's not working. I intend to call DigitalsOnDemand and hope they will replace me a new one. :)I gave 4 stars because there two items are not working, but the bundle kit does have great value. I recommend everyone should buy it. Thanks DigitalsOnDemand. Definitely, I will order from your company again. :) BTW, the shipping really fast too. :) Thanks so much. LOVE THE BUNDLE! :) UPDATE: I emailed the seller and they sent me item to replace defective item right way. :) I am ve ry happy! Thank you so much DigitalsOnDemand. :) I changed from 4 stars to 5 stars because I am very much happy with the Bundle that I purchase and how quick they respond to buyer like me. :) 32 of 35 people found the following review helpful Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: DigitalsOnDemand 14-Item Accessory Bundle for New Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1-Inch, Wi-Fi) (Electronics) I'd have preferred to give this 2.5 stars.Firstly the Packaging was not the best and the box looked stuffed & tossed, but my review is not about that.... I bought this primarily for the Card reader, screen protector and Stylus, to use with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1", so I'll start with those: 5 in 1 Card Reader Can't complain too much about this, it read my SD card easily enough, the connection doesn't seem like the sturdiest and it disconnected once or twice, however I suspect this is also due to the Samsung's design of the connector. Screen Protector This comes in a flat cardboard case covered in Japanese writing. It is a 3 part screen with which you peel away the cover over the adhesive side, live up and place the screen down, then you peel off the top layer. For starters, the screen is not the correct size as the protector and this frustrates a slightly OCD person like me. Secondly due to the camera you have to align the holes for the camera first, meaning you have to peel up to half off and get that correct, by the time I had that lined up I had a huge collection of bubbles, not all of which are the easiest to iron out. After removing the top layer I found that the screen itself felt almost sticky(ish), worse when trying to use the stylus. I eventually removed the screen and cut it to fit a phone & kindle. Stylus At first I was impressed with the stylus, until I tried to use it to do cursive / drag actions. The tip of the stylus is a rubber "ball" that covers the tip, the problems I had were that the rubber skips when dragging across the screen, as well as squeaking annoyingly. Even worse, the tip is fastened by a metal ring, however, if someone were to press to hard while dragging, the rubber compresses enough for the metal to make contact with the screen, potentially scratching the (protection-less) screen. I figure I'll use it for point and click but bac k to the fingers for drag and drop actions. Hard back cover Made of rubber, It fit the Tablet pretty easily, my only complaint would be the buttons over the sleep / volume seem to be a bit stiff, but that would only be a problem for children / the elderly. Pleather Case Don't be stupid like me and try to fit the device + hard back into it, that just won't work. It seems the type of quality that you'd expect for the bundled price (cheapish but good enough), my issue with this is that it has a right way to insert else you cover the camera, the problem is that this leaves the button exposed on the open side when the cover is closed, this I don't like as it means I can accidentally wake the device while holding it. There are 2 ways to use the stand, either at almost 90 degrees and then at around 30 degrees. At ~90 degrees, you'd need to lower your chair to face the camera or lean further away from the device, at this orientation the but tons are on top and right side up. At ~30 degrees, the device is now upside down (as per camera/Samsung label), thus if you're video chatting with someone they get an excellent view of your nose hairs. Also it puts the buttons below, in case you want to adjust the volume. I can see this being a problem if using any apps that have fixed orientation (Minecraft), but then you could simply flip the tablet around and cover the camera. Chargers (car & wall), earphones and other cables All seem standard and not much to talk about, the earphones have an ON/OFF button that toggles the play app (whose existence I only discovered after pressing). The fish bone is interesting but too small for the length of the earphones. Carry Case Probably the silliest part of all of this is that the carry pouch is too small for all the items (minus cases) to fit at once. I suppose an incredibly meticulous person can find a way to fit all the items, but it would still b e a tight fit. All in all, some useful items but a good bit of disappointment too. 20 of 21 people found the following review helpful By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: DigitalsOnDemand 14-Item Accessory Bundle for New Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1-Inch, Wi-Fi) (Electronics) Everything was great in this bundle. About the screen protector...I thought I had a defective product because the first time I put it on it had tons of bubbles, and no matter what I did, the bubbles stayed...So I was disappointed :-(. Then I actually took a closer look and discovered that there were actually two protector sheets protecting the actual protector. The first time I used the protector that was protected by the one with red sticker...its a big NO NO because this resulted with tons of bubbles...however, when I used the one with the blue sticker, There was no, to little bubbles...and you can actually get rid of the bubbles by pressing on them. There were no instructions on this item...just pictures, so you are left guessing what to do. NOW, my screen looks great and you do not even notice it has a protector covering it. I posted this just in case some of you come across this problem. |
