This review is from: Hewlett Packard - HP 950-951 XL Four Pack- Black & Color Inkjet Ink Set (Office Product) This item was a 4 pack of ink for an HP printer. The photo and description led me to believe I was purchasing brand new HP ink cartridges, not refilled cartridges. Photos show brand new HP packages of ink and what I received was refilled ink cartridges in clear plastic bags. The ad did not say anything about refills. The price is also very close to full price from the store which led me to believe I was getting a slightly good deal. Many other vendors sell these ink cartridges at a much lower price, I would have purchased from them if I wanted refilled ink. I want to return this ink for a full refund, including return shipping. I also think Amazon should force the Ad to indicate that these are refilled cartridges! I am especially upset over the fact that I ordered these, waited for them, and then they are not what I ordered. Now I do not have the use of my printer because I have run out of yellow ink. I will be posting a negative response later today on this Ad. This review is from: Hewlett Packard - HP 950-951 XL Four Pack- Black & Color Inkjet Ink Set (Office Product) Received four-pack of cartridges.When we install any of them in the printer, the printer rejects them as counterfeit. The packaging looks legitimate. The back of each box is stamped with the words, "CZECH REPUBLIC" and an expiration date. Also, all the text on the packaging is printed in six languages. The English word "colour" is always with the British spelling (ie, includes a 'u'). These may be legitimate European cartridges. The wording of the printer's error message leaves open that possibility, if I recall correctly. In any case, they will not work on our US HP 8600 Plus. I called Amazon and they immediately said they'd send a return shipping label and issue a refund. Amazon customer support is impressive. The cost is always a bit of a shock! This price, although not inexpensive, is a little easier to swallow. The XL size lasts a long time for my purposes, so I feel I get a lot for my money. |
